DLR staff on strike
Docklands Light Railway workers are going to vote on strike action over two separate disputes involving pay and conditions.
Members of the rail will vote for the action in coming week and result of this voting will be due on May 12, 2015.
The union said that they will not sit back till then both disputes regarding pay raise and terms and conditions by the company are not resolved. Furthermore, they said no other option but to go for ballot of both directly hired by DLR and contractual employees. The strikers said, our demands are very clear and there is no doubt as they want a nice and safe working environment, favorable rewards and credits, appropriate working conditions and will not be forced for substandard pay arrangements.
