Londoner struck with £3,000 cab bill after ‘hackers’ rack up 142 Uber journeys

According to “The London Evening Standard News” A Londoner informed how he was hit with a £3,000 cab bill for 142 journeys – after his Uber account was presumably hacked.
An average of 10 rides has been made against his Uber account but he said he did not get any detail or alert regarding these rides. He also told us some of rides were quite crazy as there was one going round the circle.

Mr. Crossley told that Uber has assured to refund his amount but he said he can’t rely on this. He advised he has been using Uber for a long time period but he is not going to continue using their services until he feel safe.
