Passengers face disruption at Gatwick and Luton
People traveling from Luton and Gatwick airport face trouble today because of a planned industrial strike by French Air Traffic Control services. Families coming back from their Easter holiday breaks and those wishing for a last minute break are worst affected.
EasyJet has terminated 118 flights as well as return flights to Paris from Luton and Gatwick abandoned. Along with Easyjet scheduled flights British Airways, Ryanair, and Flybe are also affected.
Flybe is also cancelling 16 flights today as well as services to Paris from Birmingham, Manchester and Exeter as well as to and from Southampton.
EasyJet can ensure its passengers as it is trying everything possible to minimize the trouble of this strike on them. They are also informing all affected passengers of any flight modifications via e-mail and SMS.
